How to solve compatibility problem in Windows 7 using virtual machine

With the arrival of Windows 7 windows has made it`s mark on the software industry more strong which was faded by the failure of Windows vista to meet expectations. Method One- Try changing compatibility options

Take properties of the program that you want to install. Check the box 'Run this program in compatibility mode for'. Now select the version of windows in which it successfully run in the drop down menu available below. After applying these property changes install the application.

If after installing you face some problems, you can select 'Run programs made for previous versions of windows' from control panel and list the applications that do not work properly in windows 7 and repair them. If even this method fails you have to try another method

 The next easiest method is to try virtualization in windows 7. If you are using any version of Windows 7 other than home edition or home premium, you can use windows xp mode and windows virtual PC . But before using this make sure that you are using genuine version of Windows 7. Virtual XP mode will perform better if your hardware supports virtualization..

Because of two reasons you may be unable to use windows XP mode

1,You are using home edition of Windows 7

2. Your hardware does not support virtual PC

XP mode installed inside windows 7  will be almost similar to your windows xp itself. You can install as many applications inside it as you like. Using this method you can use almost all applications that you can run in Windows XP as it is a version of windows xp running in windows 7

Even then if you feel that some applications you cannot run in it. You have to try the third method.

Method 3
